Dyno Tuning
Melbourne
Custom car dyno tuning for Audi, BMW, VW, Mercedes and Porsche. Every car is baselined, calibrated and verified on the dyno, then road-tested — and you leave with the dyno sheet and data logs.
The Basics
What is dyno tuning a car?
Dyno tuning is calibrating your car's engine software while it runs on a dynamometer — a machine that measures power and torque at the wheels under real load.
Between runs, the tuner adjusts fuelling, ignition timing and boost, and sees the effect immediately. That turns tuning from guesswork into measurement: more power where the engine can safely make it, and nothing pushed past its limits.
Measured, not guessed
Power, torque, AFR and boost recorded on every run.
Safety first
Knock and temperatures monitored live throughout calibration.
Proof you keep
Before-and-after dyno graph plus full data logs.
Road-verified
Logged on the road so it drives as well as it pulls.
Our Process
How a PTEB dyno tune works
- 01
Pre-health check
Scan for fault codes, check for boost and exhaust leaks, and review the car's condition before any power is added.
- 02
Baseline run
A stock pull on our in-house Mainline dyno records where the car starts — power, torque, air-fuel ratio and boost.
- 03
Calibration passes
Fuelling, ignition timing and boost are adjusted between runs while knock, temperatures and AFR are monitored live.
- 04
Repeatability
Back-to-back runs confirm the result is consistent, not a one-off peak number.
- 05
Road validation
The car is logged on the road to confirm drivability, part-throttle behaviour and shifting.
